Hope everyone is having a good start to 2025.    Alan Wharton asked me to share that he will be holding his class this spring for anyone that is interested in becoming a high school referee.    All classes are done virtuallly with an added field clinic and you will be able to work public, private and catholic games this fall.    If you or anyone you know is interested please email Alan at AlanWharton1790@yahoo.com.
 
This is a great opportunity especially for former players to stay active in the game and earn some extra money.    Please let Alan know if you have any questions and classes begin in a few weeks so please get in touch with him.
 

 

Pat Deforte" CHSAA Conference for Basketball

If you live or work in the New York Metropolitan area, consider officiating for Pat DeForte's CHSAA conference.

Basketball - New York City Basketball Officiating Course 2024

The first meeting was information regarding course, NCAA governed with HS modifications, zoom rules and mechanics sessions, payment and membership.  I record all zoom sessions and put them in a google classroom.  Individuals who register and pay for the course are granted access to the google classroom.  Any questions they can call me, (917) 882-7965.

Basketball Camp

Below is the application link to our upcoming 2024 Fall Camp. Camp is scheduled for September 14 & 15. This will be a 2-day camp and officials are expected to attend both days. Camp Fee will be $75. For those officials who attended our Spring 2024 Camp, your fee will be at a discounted rate of $50. Applications will be received on a first come first serve basis with priority given to those officials who were present at the Spring 2024 Camp.
